SHAFFE is a Trade Association which represents fresh fruit growers and exporters of the Southern Hemisphere. SHAFFE unites representatives from all significant Southern Hemisphere countries exporting fresh fruits, including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, New Zealand, Peru, South Africa and Uruguay. Together, these countries annually export over 3.2 billion USD worth of fresh fruits.
SHAFFE is working to improve conditions for exporting fruit to the Northern Hemisphere. SHAFFE is organised via a Brussels-based Secretariat, believes in a free-trade philosophy and aims to promote cooperation among members and to further collective goals.
