Biologische Vielfalt wird im 21. Jhd. durch climate change und global change massiv bedroht.
Den äußerst wirkungsvollen Beitrag der TRUNPA-Projekt-Idee zum Erhalt der Vielfalt bescheinigte das internationale
IUCN Countdown2010.
Migration sichert Überleben!
Schafe sind beste Samen-Vektoren,
Sie sind echte Samen-Taxis!
Die Welt braucht den ECO-HERDER
und ein integriertes social herding,
um nachhaltig überleben zu können!
Klimaerwärmung bedingt bis 2080 massive Bedrohung sowie Aussterben von bis zu 70% der Flora, und dies zusätzlich zur aktuellen Bedrohung durch die aktuellen Umweltbelastungen.
Diese Belastungen sind beispielsweise konventionelle Landwirtschaft, die laut OECD (2009) das Aussterben jeder zweiten Pflanze verursacht.
Ökosysteme verlieren ihre Vielfalt und Widerstandskraft, Landschaften ihren Zauber und die ecosystem services.
All dies wird eine klimatische Rückkoppelung zur Folge haben, die dann zu einer zu einer Zuspitzung der Klimaerwärmung führt:
Wie lange bleibt uns noch für eine nachhaltige Reaktion?
Wann kommt die erste große Wüste nach Europa, wann die erste Hungernot?
Migration senkt die Bedrohung der Biodiversität gewaltig. Die Migration von Pflanzen muss ganz zentraler Gesichtspunkt von Konzepten zum Erhalt der biologischen Vielfalt sein. Co-Evolution von Weidepflanzen und Weidetieren ermöglichte über Jahrmillionen, dass Pflanzengesellschaften genetisch kommunizieren, und so ihre Anpassungsfähigkeit an die Veränderungen der Umwelt anpassten.
Hier sitzt das Herz von TRUNPA (Transhumant Rangeland Use and Networking of Protected Areas):
Wanderungen von Schafherden zwischen unterschiedlichen Biotopen ermöglichen eine Migration von Pflanzenarten und Kleinstlebewesen.
Hirten müssen besser in die Gesellschaft integriert werden:
Ökosystemberater, Tourismus, social herder, etc.
Die Tätigkeit ist politisch und ökonomisch zu unterstützen (empowerment). Den Ökologen ist klar: Hirten brauchen dazu eine neue ökologische Zusatzausbildung, eine Ausbildung, die Ihnen einen neuen Zugang zur Welt schafft!
HBB-consult will die Öffentlichkeit aufklären, um
- aufzuzeigen, welche Chancen Weidewege vielen Pflanzen zum Überleben geben,
- Ideen zu neuer Landschaftsarchitektur und Agrarlandschaft zu vermitteln,
- die gesellschaftliche Implementierung neuer Umweltkonzepte anzuregen,
und
- ein neues Umweltbewusstsein (environmental gender) zu schaffen.
Wir wollen einen Beitrag zur Gleichberechtigung der Umwelt schaffen.
Nur so kann der Mensch in seinen Ökosystemen auch die nächsten paar Jahrtausende noch weiter überleben!
