Goals / remit

Goals / remit of the organisation: ISOBRO is a national umbrella organisation for fundraising charities in Denmark. ISOBRO works for the continuous furtherance of healthy and socially responsible practices within the Danish charity sector, as well as conducting lobbying work for the development of the best possible working conditions for fundraising charities in Denmark.

ISOBRO has three main functions, through which it takes on the role of both lobbyist, entrepreneur and supervisor:

1) Strengthen its members through the promotion of common interests while always respecting the individual member’s independence and freedom of action.

2) Set and maintain ethical fundraising standards

3) Lobby for government policies and legislation which facilitate the best possible conditions for fundraising efforts and charity work.
