Unsere Aufgabe liegt in der Wahrnehmung der wirtschaftlichen, technischen und ideellen Fachinteressen unserer Mitgliedsfirmen.

Der JSM-Herstellerverband ist innerhalb des Fachverbandes Industrie verschiedener Eisen- und Stahlwaren e.V. (IVEST) organisiert, der einer der Fachverbände des Wirtschaftsverbandes Stahl- und Metallverarbeitung e.V. (WSM) ist und darüber auch eine Anbindung an den Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie e.V. (BDI) besitzt.
Wir sind Mitglied beim "FORUM Waffenrecht", beim europäischen Verband „Institut Europeen des Arms de Chasse et de Sport (IEACS)“ sowie beim "World Forum on the Future of Sport Shooting Activities (WFSA)".
