Der Verband Baden-Württembergischer Omnibusunternehmer e.V. (WBO) vertritt als Interessen- und Arbeitgeberverband die Interessen von 450 Omnibusunternehmen in Baden-Württemberg, zu denen neben den privaten auch einige kommunale, gemischtwirtschaftliche und staatliche Verkehrsunternehmen zählen.
Ziel und Aufgabe der Verbandstätigkeit ist die Verbesserung des Images des Verkehrssystems Bus und der Kampf um Chancengleichheit für mittelständische Busunternehmen im nationalen und internationalen Wettbewerb. Vor diesem Hintergrund hält der Verband einen engen Kontakt zur Politik und Wirtschaft, informiert über Neuregelungen und veranstaltet regelmäßig Kongresse und Messen.
