Der VOTUM Verband ist die Interessenvertretung der europaweit tätigen Finanzdienstleistungsunternehmen. Er ist im Board of Directors des Europäischen Dachverbandes der unabhängigen Finanzberater und Finanzvermittler (FECIF) vertreten.
Seit der Verbandsgründung 1995 zählen zu den VOTUM-Mitgliedern neben den Marktführen der unabhängigen Allfinanzunternehmen in Deutschland auch die maßgeblichen Produktgebergesellschaften für die unabhängige Versicherungs- und Anlageberatung. Durch die Mitgliedschaft von Vertrieben, Versicherern, Investmentfondsgesellschaften, Initiatoren und Fondsbanken vertritt VOTUM die gesamte Marktbreite der Finanzdienstleistungswirtschaft. Die Mitgliedsunternehmen von VOTUM repräsentieren ca. 80.000 Finanzdienstleister. Nicht nur durch seine Größe, sondern insbesondere durch seine Fachkompetenz hat sich der VOTUM Verband heute zu der Interessenvertretung der unabhängigen Vertriebsunternehmen und ihrer Produktpartner entwickelt und fungiert als kompetenter Ansprechpartner insbesondere für die deutsche Politik als wesentlicher Vertreter der Praxis.
