The objective of this working group is to pursue and support the IT specifications phase of the Customs Decisions programme. In the first phase, the group will analyse and base its work upon the data related documentation provided by the business side and consolidate it with IT information in order to define a technical data model which will need to be reviewed and accepted by all Member States. The set of deliverables will be completing and aligning to the business data and the Level 4 BPM related activity as being defined by TAXUD's customs policy directorate (in particular, unit A3 acting as system owner). The deliverables are: - Data dictionary for the Customs Decisions programme; - Data Requirements (functional & IT specific); - Logical data model. In the second phase, the group will validate the IT requirements and establish the IT specifications for the Customs Officer user interface concerning: - Data entry; - Application and authorisation management; - Consultation pages; - Human task pages. This project could also serve as a test case and possible starting point towards a new collaboration model to support the IT specification phase of any Customs IT system in Europe.
