The Commission establishes a consultative and supporting group with representatives of stakeholders' organisations and Enterprise Europe Network's partners. On one hand, its aim will be to provide advice and recommendations to the Commission that will contribute to the policy and strategic direction of the Enterprise Europe Network as well as evaluation of and support to services and activities provided by the Network (“the forum”). The forum may issue recommendations that will be evaluated by the Commission and taken into account in determining the future development of the Network, alongside the overall objectives of the Network and its mandate, as well as other policy priorities of the Commission (DG GROW and other relevant DGs). The forum may be asked to provide feedback on the evolving needs and concerns of the business community, especially SMEs, and will share views and ideas on the strategic development of the Network in relation to host organisations' priorities and directions. It will consider current and future priorities, services and developments. On the other hand, the experts will provide support to Network operations which go beyond the competence of their own organisation. This will be the case for high intensity contributions to EU wide Network activities, which is applicable to the work done by the Sector Group Chairs; they are selected by EASME following a vote by other Sector Group members.
