ENTR - Enterprise and Industry DG
The Commission will establish a single consultative forum with up to 10 representative organisations. Its aim will be to provide advice and recommendations to the Commission that will contribute to the policy and strategic direction of the Enterprise Europe Network. These recommendations will be evaluated by the Commission and taken into account in determining the future development of the Network, alongside the overall objectives of the Network and its mandate as defined in the CIP, as well as other policy priorities of the Commission (DG ENTR and other relevant DGs).
The forum will provide feedback on the evolving needs and concerns of the business community, especially SMEs, and will share views and ideas on the strategic development of the Network in relation to host organisations' priorities and directions. It will consider future priorities, notably in view of the next multi-annual financial framework (including the proposed new programmes COSME and Horizon2020). It will also comment on the Annual Guidance Note that is given by the Commission to the Network. The Forum will explore and exchange ideas on issues relating to the medium- to long-term development of the Network.
The Commission will make every effort to take the forum's recommendations into account; however they cannot be considered as binding.
