This Expert Group is established in the context of the Open Method of Coordination under the EU Youth Strategy – the renewed framework for European cooperation in the youth field (2010-2018). The Expert Group will concentrate on delivering concrete and useable results that respond to the priorities of the EU Youth Strategy, the 2015 EU Youth Report and the current EU Work Plan for Youth 2016-2018. It provides the opportunity to identify and learn from good practices in different Member States. The aim of the sub-group on Digitalisation and youth is to address the risks, opportunities and implications of digitalisation for youth, youth work and youth policy. The aim of the sub-group on Preventing marginalisation and radicalisation is to define the specific contribution of youth work as well as non-formal and informal learning to fostering active citizenship and participation of young people in diverse and tolerant societies and preventing marginalisation, radicalisation potentially resulting in violent behaviour. The aim of the sub-group on Contribution of youth work to address young people's challenges (2014-2015) was to define the specific contribution of youth work and non-formal and informal learning to address the challenges young people are facing, in particular the transition from education to employment. The sub-group on Youth Work Quality Systems (2013-2015) examined youth work in EU Member States and explores how common indicators or frameworks may be developed. The sub-group on Mobility of Young Volunteers aims to facilitate the implementation of the Recommendation on Mobility of Young Volunteers across the EU. The aim of the sub-group on Youth Indicators s to establish indicators in order to measure the progress of Member States in all the fields of action of the EU Youth Strategy. The sub-group on Peer Learning (2012-2014) aimed to help Member States to exchange experience and learn from each other on Youth Policy.
