The present list includes joint entities and sub-entities resulting from international agreements which were active in 2010. Joint entities are set up directly under international agreements to oversee the implementation of those agreements.

A list of expert groups and other advisory bodies which assist the Commission in preparing legislative proposals and policy initiatives is available in the Register of Commission expert groups on EUROPA.

A list of ‘comitology’ committees created by the legislator to assist the Commission in exercising its implementing powers is published as an Annex to the Annual reports on the work of these Committees, available on EUROPA, as well as in the Register of Comitology.
