and its implementing modalities.The third session consisted in a consultation on the EU Work Plan for Sport 2011-2014 and future priorities. A first introduction by Director General Jan Truszczyński was followed by two parallel workshops: one on "Anti-doping, good governance and education and training" and one on " Health and participation, statistics and sustainable financing". The fourth session was a panel debate on the regulation of the transfer of players, which also included the presentation of a " Study on the economic and legal aspects of transfer of players ".

On the second day, the fifth session consisted in the presentation of the workshops results on the EU Work Plan for Sport and future priorities from the previous day.The sixth and final session which was a high-level panel debate on dual careers for athletes, with the participation of Commissioner Vassiliou, which included a video on testimonials by Mr Juan Antonio Corbolán and Mr Šarūnas Marčiulionis on their personal experiences on dual careers.

An active exchange of views with representatives from a variety of sport and sport-related organisations contributed to the success of the event and has helped the Commission to identify priorities for its planned initiatives in the field of sport. The engagement of the participants was also encouraged with the introduction, for the first time, of a twitter wall.
