Study on sports organisers' rights in the EU: call for tender
In chapter 3.2 ('Sustainable financing of sport') of its Communication "Developing the European Dimension in Sport" adopted on 18 January 2011 (COM(2011)12 final), the Commission announces its intention to launch a study to analyse sport organisers' rights and image rights in sport from the perspective of the EU legal framework.
On this basis, the Commission has launched an invitation to tender for a study on sports organisers' rights in the EU (public contract No EAC/18/2012, to be awarded by open procedure). This invitation to tender follows the publication of a prior information notice on 27 April 2012 (OJ/S 2012/S 82 - 133470) and of the contract notice in the Official Journal of the European Union on 06 July 2012 (2012/S 128-211223)
