Public contract no. DG EAC/13/08, to be awarded by open procedure: "Invitation to tender for a study on sport agents in the European Union"

Action 41 in the Pierre de Coubertin Action Plan annexed to the White Paper on Sport states that "The Commission will carry out an impact assessment to provide a clear overview of the activities of players' agents in the EU and an evaluation of whether action at EU level is necessary, which will also analyse the different possible options."
As a contribution to this impact assessment, the Commission has launched an invitation to tender for a study on sport agents in the European Union. This invitation to tender follows the publication of a prior information notice on 26 March 2008 (OJ/S 2008/S 59-079210) and of the contract notice in the Official Journal of the European Union on 26 July 2008 (OJ/S 2008/S 144-192478
).
