Настоящата брошура разглежда нарастващото значение на частно управляваните капиталопокривни пенсионни схеми. The purpose of the present publication is to explain MISSOC and its outputs. The publication contains examples and extracts of information to illustrate the different types of information developed and published by the Mutual Information System on Social Protection. The examples date from January 1st 2008. For up-to-date information the publication refers to http://ec.europa.eu/missoc . This publication will soon be available in printed format in English, French and German.

The Joint Report on Social Protection and Social Inclusion 2009 presents an in-depth assessment of the renewed National Strategy Reports. Originally presented in autumn 2008, these reports outline every Member State's social protection and inclusion policy priorities until 2011. It is available in English only.

This Social Situation Report 2008 — published annually since 2000 — presents key indicators in 17 statistical portraits that address a range of social policy concerns for the European Union: population; education and training; labour market; social protection; income, social inclusion and living conditions; gender equality and health and safety. Sixteen of the chosen twenty-five key indicators presented in the portraits are among the Structural Indicators which are used in order to monitor the progress towards the agreed targets based on the Lisbon Strategy for growth and jobs. This report is available in printed format in English with French and German summaries.

This Commission Staff Working Document produced by Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities details the progress made in achieving the European strategy for social protection and social inclusion. Using indicators agreed upon by the Member States, a detailed analysis was completed on the work done in different strands of the strategy. The document also analyses the current situation and future trends found in each strand.This publication is available in English only.

The First Biennal Report on Social Services of General Interest (SSGIs) is a monitoring and dialogue tool which had been announced in the 2006 and the 2007 Communications. The report provides an overall picture of SSGI in the EU. It describes their socio-economic situation and the major economic and societal changes to which they have to adapt. It also looks at the way in which these services adjust to evolving needs and constraints and how the changes affect the organisation, financing and provision of social services of general interest in terms of relevant EU rules. It is available in English, French and German.
