    The analysis of the outcome of the negotiations concerning the Partnership Agreements and ESF Operational Programmes, for the programming period 2014-2020

    This study provides an evidence-based review of EU countries' strategic choices in the programming of the European Social Fund. This EU-level report was prepared on the basis of 28 country factsheets. The summary analysis aggregates the variables collected in the country factsheets in order to provide EU level figures. This cross-country analysis also allows to compare the solutions adopted by Member States and clusters of Member States and region, and to identify the main trends across the EU.

    O Fundo Social Europeu — Investir nas pessoas

    Esta brochura descreve o modo como o Fundo Social Europeu (FSE) apoia pessoas que, de outro modo, poderiam não ter a oportunidade de frequentar formação, obter qualificações e encontrar bons empregos. Graças à sua dimensão e alcance, o Fundo tem uma grande influência no mercado de trabalho e na sociedade em geral. Em alguns países, cerca de 90% das despesas reais em medidas do mercado de trabalho provêm do FSE. O Fundo é o principal instrumento utilizado pela UE para cumprir as suas metas em matéria de aumento das taxas de emprego, redução da pobreza e melhoria do aproveitamento escolar em toda a União.

    A publicação explica como funciona o FSE e apresenta os resultados obtidos até agora graças ao período de financiamento de 2007-2013, bem como exemplos reais de como ajudou alguns dos milhões de pessoas que apoia todos os anos.

    Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD) - Edition 2016 - Poster

    The Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD) offers assistance to some of the most vulnerable persons in the EU – every year, it helps over 10 million people. The assistance may take the form of food, clothing and other essentials, accompanied by advice, counselling or other help to re-integrate into society. The FEAD may also finance stand-alone social inclusion activities for the most deprived persons, which are designed to strengthen people’s skills and capacities so that they can overcome difficulties or discrimination they face in everyday life.
