The European Commission is organising an expert conference in Brussels on 18 February to disseminate and discuss the findings of the 2013 Employment and Social Developments in Europe Review.
The Brussels Office of the Bertelsmann Stiftung in collaboration with the European Commission held an international expert conference on 11 October on the subject of "Automatic stabilizers for the Eurozone: pros and cons of a European Unemployment Benefit Scheme".
Following the publication of the 2012 annual review, DG EMPL is organising an expert conference by invitation only, to disseminate and discuss its findings.

The conference to be held in Brussels on 5-6 December will take stock of how inequalities develop and explore ways of how to mitigate them.
The conference to be held on 15 September in Brussels will address wage developments and their impact on competitiveness and social cohesion, through a high-level debate between researchers, employment policy makers and social partners.
Fabrice Murtin from OECD Economics Department will present the seminar on 9 June from 2 to 4pm.
Commissioner László Andor opened the conference on 10 March, which gathered around 200 participants, by welcoming 2010 Nobel Prize laureate Christopher Pissarides and his work on search and matching theory.
