PES to PES Dialogue Dissemination Conference: New developments, good practices and lessons learnt

The second conference under the PES to PES Dialogue programme – the European Commission’s mutual learning programme for public employment services (PESs) – will take place on 8-9 September 2011 in Brussels.

The conference aims to present and discuss the results from the first year of activities of the European Commission's specific mutual learning programme for public employment services (PESs) in Europe. It is dedicated to both PESs strategic managers and a wider policy audience.

It will focus on key issues on the agenda of PESs, proposed by and agreed with the European Network of Heads of Employment Services (HoPES):

1. Decentralisation and national co-ordination
2. Profiling systems for effective labour market integration
3. PESs and lifelong guidance
4. PESs and senior people
5. PESs and low skilled young people
6. PESs, e-government and multi-channelling.
