The aim of this Peer Review is to present the German approaches to integrate long-term unemployed persons.
This Peer Review will present the Irish methods for forecasting skills. It will address the techniques used in different countries to generate estimates on future demand for skills and the advantages and disadvantages of different approaches to facilitate improvements in practices at the EU and national level.
The current refugee crisis is stressing the mechanisms in European countries to deal with asylum requests and general migration on economic grounds. This Peer Review will present the specific Spanish experience on labour integration of applicants and beneficiaries of international protection.
This Peer Review presented the specific experimental measure “Garantie Jeunes” in the youth guarantee (“Garantie Jeunesse”) context. This experimental measure targets the most vulnerable NEETS (young people not in employment, education or training) and supports them by providing a first professional experience, including both work experience and training opportunities; as well as financial support.
This Peer Review presented Universal Credit, a new type of benefit in the UK which was designed to support people who were on a low income or out of work. Universal Credit replaced six existing benefits and aimed to make work pay and effectively incentivise people towards and within work.
