The 7th PES to PES Dialogue Conference on targeted services for employers took place on 11 -12 March 2014 in Brussels.
It is a core element of the PES to PES Dialogue programme – the European Commission’s mutual learning programme for public employment services (PESs).
The conference was dedicated to the discussion of evidenced-based practices across PES in the EU, and it focused specifically on two key subjects of importance in relation to employers:
The audience included strategic managers of public employment services (PES), as well as several employer representatives. The key issues on the agenda were proposed by and agreed with the European Network of Heads of Employment Services (HoPES) as part of its annual work programme 2014.
This conference brought PES and employers together for two days to discuss good practice, challenges and key success factors that enable more and closer cooperation between PES and employers to further the labour market integration of jobseekers across the EU.
PES showcased their concepts and approaches to developing, targeting and delivering recruitment services to employers, large or small, with a focus on recent changes regarding customer segmentation and the use of online services. In return, representatives of employers and organisations of interest shared insights on what they viewed should be on PES agendas to foster closer cooperation.
