European conference: Advice on apprenticeship and traineeship schemes with ESF support

Counselling session

The conference will provide information and working sessions on apprenticeship and traineeship schemes throughout the EU, including a consideration of how European funding can be used to develop new schemes or improve existing ones.

It will also provide an opportunity to refine commitments of actions and pledges from stakeholders.

The conference will be hosted by László Andor, Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, and is part of the European Social Fund's Technical Assistance to Member States on apprenticeship and traineeship schemes.

The conference marks an important milestone in the roadmap towards establishing the European Alliance for Apprenticeships.

Who should attend?

The conference targets national authorities, in particular those in charge of managing ESF, relevant national and regional agencies, as well as social partners and public and private employment services.

Practical information

Participation is free of charge, travel and accommodation for participants from outside Brussels will be covered.

The main language of the conference will be English and interpretation from and into FR, DE, IT, ES and PL will be provided on demand.
