On 22 June 2016, DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion of the European Commission hosted a Thematic Event under the umbrella of the Mutual Learning Programme addressing the integration of asylum seekers and refugees. It presented the best ways to integrate asylum seekers and refugees in European labour markets and their specific social integration needs.
Hosted by Sweden, this High Level Learning Exchange brought together five European ministers responsible for labour market issues, representatives from the European Commission and independent experts.
On 25 June 2015, DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion of the European Commission hosted a Thematic Event under the umbrella of the Mutual Learning Programme, addressing learning for unemployed adults. It focused on the challenges and opportunities to increase skills for long-term unemployed, unskilled adults and disadvantaged groups.
