Diaconia Neuendettelsau organises an intergenerational human chain in its annual festival
05/06/2012An intergenerational human chain was the highlight of the annual festival of the Diaconia Neuendettelsau, Germany, which took place on May 2 under the motto “Connecting generations”.
Citizens of all ages formed the chain, which went all around the Bezzelwiese, from the Löhe-Campus to the Bezzel-Heim.
More than 1,000 people attended the festival, which offered exhibitions, musical performances, games for the children and a variety of stands, where the facilities and work areas of the Diaconia Neuendettelsau were presented.
A mini-train provided a connection to Neuendettelsau Clinic, where medical experts participated in an open-day and provided information about treatments available.
