PES to PES Dialogue Dissemination Conference: Innovative and effective approaches for the strategic management of PES

The 2nd PES to PES Dialogue Dissemination Conference on Innovative and effective approaches for the strategic management of PES took place on 19-20 September in Brussels.

This was the fourth conference under the PES to PES Dialogue programme – the European Commission’s mutual learning programme for public employment services (PESs).

The conference was dedicated to the discussion and dissemination of the results from the second year of the “PES to PES Dialogue” programme to strategic managers of public employment services (PES), as well as a wider policy audience. It focused on key issues on the agenda of PESs, proposed by and agreed with the European Network of Heads of Employment Services (HoPES):

• PES services for employers
• PES and older workers
• Individual action planning
• Performance measurement and target setting
• Job profiles and training of employment counsellors
• Organisational development, continuous improvement and innovation management
