The Centre for Ageing Research and Development in Ireland (CARDI) has announced a new small grants programme to promote active and healthy ageing.
This call “aims to attract researchers interested in the area of healthy and active ageing with a view to improving the lives of older people across the island of Ireland”, says CARDI’s Director, Dr Roger O’Sullivan.
The initiative is offering up to €100,000 in total to fund research projects with an all-Ireland focus. Applications for individual grants range from €5,000 to a maximum of €20,000 available for a single project.
The programme will support researchers to extract, collate and analyse data from an all Ireland perspective and summarise it into information relevant for policy or practice.
The deadline for entries is 4 February 2013. More information available here.
