Celem wdrożonego w 2010 r. europejskiego instrumentu mikrofinansowego Progress jest ułatwienie dostępu do mikrofinansowania w całej Europie. Mikrofinansowanie jest podstawowym narzędziem służącym pobudzeniu wzrostu – daje szansę zrealizowania ambicji ludziom, którzy w przeciwnym wypadku, być może, nie mieliby możliwości zostać przedsiębiorcami. W ulotce na temat instrumentu mikrofinansowego Progress ogólnie omówiono sposoby wspierania przez tę inicjatywę zatrudnienia i włączenia społecznego w Europie oraz wskazano, jak można ubiegać się o mikrokredyt. Zaprezentowano w niej też portrety przedsiębiorców z całej Europy, którzy odnieśli już korzyści dzięki instrumentowi mikrofinansowemu. Niniejsza publikacja prezentuje krótko- i długoterminowe cele programu.
