PROGRESS programme (2007-2013)

The PROGRESS programme is a financial instrument supporting the development and coordination of EU policy in the following five areas:

  • Employment
  • Social inclusion and social protection
  • Working conditions
  • Anti-discrimination
  • Gender equality

PROGRESS is open to:

  • EU countries
  • Candidate countries and potential candidate countries
  • EFTA/EEA countries (Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein)

New programme paves the way for innovative thinking

The European Commission has put forward a proposal to develop a new instrument - the Programme for Social Change and Innovation (PSCI) - which will support employment and social policies throughout the EU.
