Den europæiske mikrofinansieringsfacilitet (Progress Mikrofinansiering), der blev oprettet i 2010, har til formål at øge adgangen til mikrofinansiering i hele Europa. Mikrofinansiering er et afgørende redskab til fremme af vækst, som giver mennesker, der ellers ikke ville have mulighed for det, chancen for at realisere deres iværksætterambitioner. Brochuren om Progress Mikrofinansiering giver en oversigt over, hvordan initiativet fremmer beskæftigelse og social inklusion i Europa, og beskriver udførligt, hvorledes man kan ansøge om mikrolån. Den indeholder portrætter af nogle europæiske iværksættere, som allerede har nydt godt af mikrofinansieringsordningen Progress. Progress (2007-2013) er et EU-program for beskæftigelse og social solidaritet, der er udarbejdet med henblik på at yde finansiel støtte til at bidrage til gennemførelsen af Europa 2020-strategien. I denne publikation beskrives de lang- og kortsigtede målsætninger, og der gives flere eksempler på, hvordan programmet støtter udviklingen og koordineringen af europæisk beskæftigelses- og socialpolitik, og hvordan de forskellige berørte parter er inddraget i den politiske beslutningsproces på EU-plan og nationalt plan. Denne publikation findes i trykt version på alle officielle EU-sprog.
The PROGRESS programme provides financial support to help reach EU aims in the area of employment, social affairs and equal opportunities. This report gives an overview of the programme’s performance during 2010 in terms of progress towards the achievement of pre-defined immediate and intermediate goals. It also underlines the programme’s importance to participating countries as regards their involvement in PROGRESS activities and the relevance of outcomes to their needs.
