The Access City Award is the European prize for making cities more accessible to people with disabilities and older people. Third place in 2017 went to the Latvian city of Jūrmala. Jūrmala was awarded third place in this year’s award for its commitment to making its tourist and seaside areas more accessible to visitors and city residents.
