To thrive in a fast-changing world, everyone, including adults, needs a wide range of knowledge and skills – and to keep developing them throughout life. The objective of the European Agenda for Adult Learning is to encourage more adults to return to learning. To accomplish this, the EU and Member States have adopted a diverse array of strategies, tools and policy initiatives aimed at improving the availability and overall quality, quantity and accessibility of adult learning opportunities.
