The European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) helps people who have been made redundant as a result of globalisation. Personal stories from Italy, after the decline of Whirpool, show the beneficial impact of the EGF on the economy and society, helping to reskill the workforce and open a new glass production factory on the premises.
