Nominate your product for a sustainable energy award

Your project has accomplished outstanding results in sustainable energy and energy efficiency? Why not compete for the SUSTAINABLE ENERGY EUROPE AWARDSexternal link? This annual competition launched by the European Commission in 2005 rewards best-in-class initiatives in these fields.

The awards are the high point of the European Union Sustainable Energy Week (18-22 June 2012)external link. The EUSEW provides an invaluable opportunity to highlight the successes of the most outstanding, ambitious and innovative projects in sustainable energy and energy efficiency.

To participate your project must be ongoing, implemented by EU public and/or private actor(s) and be able to show significant and measurable results. Research projects as such are not accepted, but relevant products that spring from your research results are! You can compete in one of the following categories:

  1. Travelling:your project supports mobility of people and goods in energy-efficient ways or with the help of renewable energy sources.
  2. Communicating: your project creates awareness, changes the perception and brings about endorsement of energy efficiency and/or renewable energy via dedicated communication activities.
  3. Consuming: your project is designed to help manage and reduce our energy consumption.
  4. Learning: your project improves knowledge and skills related to energy efficiency and renewables.
  5. Living: your project aims to make buildings more energy-efficient or incorporates the on-site generation of renewable energy.
