FP7 Energy and Transport ‘Information Days’
The European Commission Directorates-General for Research and for Energy and Transport will hold joint ‘Information Days’ on 13 and 14 February 2007. The aim is to support the preparation of proposals in response to the First Calls for Proposals under the Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7) The event will take place in the Charlemagne building, rue de la Loi 170, Brussels.
The Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7) will include a specific work programme on the theme 'Transport (including aeronautics)'. With a budget of €4.16 billion, this new work programme, which will run from 2007 to 2013, is by far the largest ever devoted to transport research. The first calls for proposals are set to be published on 22 December 2006 and will close by end of May 2007.
András Siegler, Director of the Commission’s Research Directorate-General says, “I am convinced that this event will prepare you in the best way possible to participate in the new Framework Programme.”
The first day of the event (13 February 2007) will focus on the first FP7 Energy Call, while the second day (14 February 2007) will be dedicated to the first FP7 Transport Call.
