European Green Cars Initiative: build critical mass and identify synergies to improve performance
Report now available
In view of contributing to coherence among EC funded activities in the domain of energy efficient, safe, non-polluting and CO2-free vehicles, a clustering event for projects launched under the European Green Cars Initiative Public Private Partnership (EGCI PPP) was held in Brussels, on 11-12 July 2012. Over 50 projects have already been launched under this initiative; further ones will be launched in the forthcoming months, in the frame of FP7.
The 2-day workshop objectives were to:
- Build a critical mass of activities within the EGCI,
- Identify potential synergies and relevant topics for further cooperation,
- Improve the performance of individual projects.
Several thematic sessions have explored the entire EGCI spectrum and provided many opportunities for interactive discussions.
Abstract of all projects are also contained in the brochure “Project Portfolio European Green Cars Initiative PPP”.
This workshop was prepared on behalf of the EC by the Coordination Actions "PPP Implementation for Road Transport Electrification” (CAPIRE) and "Information and Communication Technologies for the Full Electric Vehicle” (ICT4FEV).
