New call for proposals Clean Sky

Clean Sky has launched its eleventh call for proposals on 13 January 2012. This represents one of the largest calls ever of this ambitious aeronautical research programme. The available funding of €36.5 million covers almost seventy topics, aiming to develop breakthrough technologies to significantly increase the environmental performances of airplanes and air transport, resulting in less noisy and more fuel efficient aircraft.

  • Low weight regional aircraft configuration
  • Low noise regional aircraft configuration
  • All-electric aircraft
  • Innovative rotor blades
  • Integration of innovative electrical systems
  • Eco-design for rotorcraft
  • Open rotor demo
  • Large 3-shaft turbofan
  • Turboshaft
  • Smart wing technology
  • New configuration for smart fixed wing
  • Management of aircraft energy
  • Management of trajectory and mission
  • Aircraft demonstrators

Two events will be organised to present the call to potential candidates. For both events, participation is free but registration is mandatory.
