CAE is the National Contact Point for EU aeronautics research in China

On 30 July 2009, the European Commission, together with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technologies (MIIT) of the People's Republic of China, launched a Call for Proposals aimed at enhancing international co-operation. The closing date is 14 January 2010.

MIIT has nominated the Chinese Aeronautical Establishment (CAE) to act as the National Contact Point (NCP) for EU Aeronautics research collaboration.

Under the FP7 'EU-China Call for Proposals in Aeronautics' (AAT), the minimum conditions for participation are:

  • At least three independent legal entities, each of which is established in a Member State or a FP7 associated country and no two of which are established in the same Member State or associated country.
  • At least two participants established in the People's Republic of China.

The maximum requested Community contribution to a project is limited to €1.5 million.

Organisations interested in responding to the EU-China Aeronautics Call for Proposals are advised to get in contact with CAE, as the NCP of China, for advice on the Call and related information.
