Who we are
We are the Transport Directorate
of the European Commission's DG for Research and Innovation. We are comprised of around 90 people and based in Brussels.
Our goals
We strive to support excellent European research projects in the field of transport: projects that contribute to a cleaner, safer and smarter pan-European transport system and to a more competitive European continent.
Our budget
€4.16 billion in the course of FP7 (2007-2013) for all transport modes.
