The objective of the IMBRAIN project is to develop the Research and Innovation potential of the Centre for Biomedical Research of the Canary Islands (CIBICAN) as an internationally recognised health science centre performing translational research on chronic, age-related, genetic-based and rare diseases affecting the quality of life. The project will also generate biomedical innovation by the effective integration of research on medicinal chemistry with that of human biology.

Creating a centre of excellence in Tallinn

The goal of the CREDES project, concluded in 2012, was to create a centre of research excellence at the Tallinn University of Technology (TUT). It addressed the development of strategic research partnerships with five European research centres, the hiring of junior, post-doc and senior researchers and the development of existing R&D facilities to maximise the transfer and promotion of the project's results and activities.
