The FESSUD project will analyse the evolution of the financial system and its different components to identify the role this system plays in sustainable development. By examining the financial and public debt crisis, FESSUD will provide guidelines for a better functioning future financial system. This contributes to reflections on overcoming the crisis and meeting the core Europe 2020 objective of smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.

Learning from the past for future EU cohesion

The GRINCOH project aims to find new options for an effective EU cohesion policy. To this end, the project team comparatively assesses the policies and the socio-economic development of Member States in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) since 1989. The project will then explore whether and how CEE development strategies can shift towards an innovation-driven process of development in the future
