POLICY REVIEW SERIES
A series of 13 policy reviews on socio-economic sciences and humanities were published in 2007. Each subsequent report represents a synthesis of research results from projects funded on thematic areas under the Fifth Framework Programme (through the so-called key action "Improving the Socio-Economic Knowledge Base"), covering the period 1998-2002. These reports perform a crucial role in achieving a better understanding of the issues involved, in extracting the key policy implications, and in guiding future directions.
