The CLIOHRES Network of Excellence will hold its final Plenary Conference and Working Meeting on 19–20 March 2010, at the Royal Flemish Academy for Science and the Arts, in Brussels. In the splendid setting of the ‘Marble Room’, members of CLIOHRES and distinguished guests will discuss the accomplishments and future prospects of the five-year project which has brought together over 200 researchers (half senior researchers and half doctoral students) from 31 countries in order to define and explore new directions for historical research.
The Network has already published over 35 volumes, and 15 more are now in the process of final editing. These, and the novel research organisation of which they are the product, will also be celebrated in an exhibit, held in the “Atrium” of the Ecuries at the Royal Flemish Academy on 19 March.
