The aim of this workshop was to inform the European Research Community about the new approach which the 7th Framework Programme will now take as regards Socio-Economic Sciences and Humanities Research. The event was an important step in preparing stakeholders for changes to the Socio-Economic and Humanities (SSH) Work Programme, the 2010 edition of which will be published and open for proposals at the end of July 2009.
