Between 2010 and 2014 the WILCO project (2010-2014) addressed the question how do social innovations at the local level in the field of welfare emerge and replicate?
It constituted a challenging departing point for several reasons one of them being the difficulty to capture the contextual dynamics that determine success or failure of the social innovations. After three years, 77 social innovations in 20 European cities have been studied and the results are becoming available.
The final WILCO event aims to offer a moment to reflect upon some of the most salient conclusions of this three-year long project. It will be a participative event, giving everyone the opportunity to contribute to the conclusions.
