Challenges of multilingualism in Europe – Core findings of the LINEE Network of Excellence

On 23 September 2010 LINEE - a Network of Excellence of nine Universities co-funded by the European Commission's 6th Research Framework Programme - presents its policy-relevant research results to interested stakeholders in Brussels. Members of the European Parliament and the European Commission, representatives of both governmental and non-governmental organizations and researchers have registered for the event. Journalists are invited as well.
Topics will include policy-relevant research results regarding multilingualism in schools, multilingualism as an asset but also a challenge, national languages and multilingualism and the role of English in Europe.
