SME Instrument: evaluation results from first cut-off for phase 2 and second cut-off for phase 1 available

Thanks to SME instrument funding, over 275 innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are on track to receive a total of €117 million in new grants from Horizon 2020, the EU's research and innovation funding programme.

The EU and the EIB Group have joined forces to improve access to debt finance for innovation-driven SMEs. InnovFin SME Guarantee will provide guarantees and counter-guarantees on debt financing of between €25,000 and €7.5 million.
