

Jörg Pechstädt, MSc in Geography, has been involved with different aspects of hydrological research and Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) since more than 6 years in Germany. His research concentrates on regionalization approaches, model application for IWRM, software development and software quality assurance. In several national projects he enhanced the RU delineation approach in order to regionalize hydrological processes and allocate these processes to response units (HRU). Mr. Pechstädt is working in a close cooperation with the Federal Waterways Engineering and Research Institute. Mr. Pechstädt also is active in the coordination of the ongoing BRAHMATWINN EC project.
