Download indicators here!
From this page you
can download the indicators that were calculated from
the available statistics. The reference year tells
you when the activities began in a particular sector
or country. For example, in the Higher Education sector,
1999 refers to the academic year that began in 1999,
even though it may have continued into 2000. There
is subsequently a time-lag during which finalised
data are collected at national level and then reported
internationally. This means that it is unavoidable
for the latest indicators to be up to two or three
years old.
Warning! Although every effort
has been made to ensure that these data conform to
the international standards, some exceptions do occur.
For this reason, you can download more information
about data sources and metadata. Please ensure that
you refer to these notes and to the relevant flags
when you are drawing conclusions based on these data.
- All data are represented in Head Count (HC), unless
otherwise stated
- If data for the reference year (y) were not available,
the year was selected following the rule: y+1 (i.e.
the following year); y-1 (i.e. the preceding year);
y+2; y-2 etc...
- For countries with smaller populations, it is
advisable to cross-refer to the raw statistics when
interpreting these indicators.
Indicators are listed
under four categories:
