| Jennifer
Neumann is one of the four founders of Canto. She has been CEO of
Canto Software AG since 1993, and Chairwoman and CEO of Canto, Inc.
since its inception in 1997. She also is a director of Canto Software
Co. Ltd.
Besides from her Canto duties and
activities, she also is a founder and board member at "Initiative
D21", a German industry-organisation, that was started in 1999 to
help accelerate Germany's migration from the industrial age into
the information age, in order to secure its leadership position
in the global economy. Among the over 100 members of Initiative
D21 are debis (DaimlerChrysler Services), HP Germany, IBM Germany,
and Siemens. Initiative D21 is co-led by the German government.
The German chancellor holds the Chairman of the Advisory Board position.
She is also a member of the Innovation
Advisory Council of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research
and on the Board of Trustees of "Women give new Impetus to Technology,
Inc."
Ms. Neumann has been interviewed
and portrayed by the media around the world on technical, as well
as political and cultural issues. She's recognised in the publishing
industry as a market influencer. She has had numerous speaking engagements
at major industry and society events.
Jennifer Neumann graduated in 1986
with a degree in Computer Science from the Technical University
