Ellen de BRABANDER

Director Global R&D, Member of EURAB.

E. de Brabander has been trained in chemistry (PhD from Leiden University University; post.doc at MIT) and joined DSM in 1991. Currently she is in charge of Research & Development of DSM Fine Chemicals (over 300 well trained coworkers active at 8 sites across Europe and USA).

She has been project manager of the DSM project Women & DSM in 1998. This project made an extensive overview of the position (quantitative and qualitative) of women at DSM and came up with some proposals that would lead to improved balance women/men at DSM. Apart from DSM job she is board member of various Dutch scientific societies related to chemistry and applied science and member of EURAB.
