Who-Members
The group consisted of 14 members, who have been selected and invited on the merit of their experience and knowledge (see their CVs).
The Group has been set up in order to be balanced
in terms of:
- Geography
- Hard/soft scientists
- Senior/junior scientists
- Gender experts
and represented:
- Universities and academies of science
- Administration of science
- Private or private non-profit sector.
Countries targeted and therefore
represented in the Expert Group were Bulgaria, Czech
Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland,
Romania, Slovak Republic and Slovenia. The Expert
Group integrated the experience of women scientists
from the new German Eastern Länder and opened a window
on the current situation facing women scientists in
the Balkan region.
The Task devoted to this Expert Group was developed in the Terms
of Reference. The overall co-ordination of the Enwise activities and the preparation of the final report have been carried out by the chairperson
and an Editorial Board of 5 members.
